Prof. Samuel E. Kalluvya

Associate Professor at the Catholic University of Health and Allied Science department of internal medicine. An endocrinologist and HIV specialist physician. Head of the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Infectious Diseases (HIV/AIDS) unit of the Bugando Zonal consultant, and University Teaching Hospital in Mwanza, Tanzania. Chair of the Tanzanian, National HIV/AIDS clinical sub-committee and a member of a number of the National AIDS control programme technical working group.

An assistant treasurer for SAA, a SAA board member, a member of the ICASA international Steering Committee and a chair of track A of the ICASA 21 scientific programme. Has research interest in HIV/AIDS, associated comorbidities diabetes and its complications.
